At Ferny Districts Cricket Club (FDCC), we’re dedicated to making cricket fun, accessible, and challenging for young players of all skill levels. With teams in the Summer Brisbane North Cricket Association and Winter Brisbane Junior Warehouse competitions, we offer something for everyone. Whether you're just starting or ready to compete, FDCC provides a safe and friendly environment for kids to learn, play, and grow in the game of cricket.
Playing Age Groups
FDCC offers age-based teams from Under 10s to Under 16s. Matches are organised on Saturday mornings or afternoons, depending on age group.

Under 10: Born 1/9/15 - 31/8/15 | Saturday morning matches

Under 11: Born 1/9/14 - 31/8/15 | Saturday afternoon matches

Under 14s and under 11s play Saturday afternoons starting at 1:15 pm, while most other morning matches start at 8:15 am. Players are grouped by birth date ranges to ensure balanced and fair competition within each age division.

2025/26 Season Dates
Our 2025/26 season is split into two sessions, pre-Christmas and post-Christmas, to suit the needs of our players and families.

Post-Christmas: 31 January 2026 - 21 March 2026
Matches are held weekly during these periods, with a mix of friendly and competitive games aimed at skill development and enjoyment.

Most morning games start at 8:15 am

Training: Sessions are scheduled weekly at FDCC’s Tramway Street nets. Once teams are finalised, each team will have a specific training time. While training attendance is encouraged to help develop skills and teamwork, it’s not compulsory. We welcome players to come as often as they’re able.

What equipment does my child need to play?
Players must bring their own equipment and cricket pants. FDCC provides optional training shirts and offers playing shirts and hats for purchase. -
